Evan Farley (b. Maine 1988) is a Berlin based designer and artist. His work, a combination of site specific installations and architectural interventions, investigates the confluence of art and architecture and its ability to create identity; further questioning how the interstitial space between fluxing disciplines affects our understanding of cultural production. Evan Recently obtained his Masters in Architecture (MArch I) from Harvard Graduate School of Design with Distinction. His thesis, titled Art of Assembly | Assembly of Art, critiqued today’s overly commodified Art Market and its propensity in creating monetary objects. It questioned architectures’ ability to intervene in this process — With the intention to extract new social constructs within our capitalist culture. He holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College in Visual Arts.
